​​​Inner Child Yoga offers yoga classes every week, private yoga sessions by appointment, and week-long summer yoga camps for children to foster relaxation and mindfulness; physical, mental and emotional strength and endurance; coordination and body awareness….and for kids to just have fun! 

We limit classes to 10 kids in each class to allow for individualized attention. Classes include checking in with our bodies and emotions, centering using various breathing techniques, learning about the brain/body connection, exciting games and activities to foster social skills, creative movement and yoga poses, relaxation strategies, and meditation. Each class is tailored to meet the needs of the age groups and is based on a theme to make learning fun! The “Stretch What Matters” yoga system (mats with color coded hand and footprints) is often used to increase success.


​​CLASSES FOR TEAMS & ATHLETES!

This group will focus on strengthening and lengthening and incorporate the following:

  • Facilitate body/mind connection for increased body awareness
  • Strengthen the core
  • Proper body alignment and modifications to protect joints
  • Specific stretches to for muscle groups to incorporate into daily routines
  • Centering and breathwork to work on focus and tuning out distractions
  • Managing stress and emotions on and off the ice
  • Meditation and relaxation.  Meditation has been shown to increase focus and attention, reduce impulsiveness, ease stress, improve self-regulation, increase empathy, and have a positive impact on learning. 


NEW MOMMY & ME CLASSES!

All caregivers welcome! ​Enjoy this time to relax and connect with your little one. Give your child a head start on the body and mind connection Learn calming techniques and breathing to help you parent from a centered place.

Baby Buddha: (0 - almost crawling) 60 min

Yogi Tots: (crawling - 21 months) 45 min

Yogi Toddlers: (21 months-3 year olds) 45 min

Lil' Yogis: 3-4 year olds (Mommy & Me; preschoolers) 45 min 

Karma Kiddos: 5-7 year olds (K-1st grade) 60 min

Namaste Ninjas: 8-10 year olds (2-4th grade) 60 min

Relax and Restore Yoga for Teens: 13-15 year olds 60 min​​
