Inner Child Yoga offers yoga classes every week, private yoga sessions by appointment, and week-long summer yoga camps for children to foster relaxation and mindfulness; physical, mental and emotional strength and endurance; coordination and body awareness….and for kids to just have fun!
We limit classes to 10 kids in each class to allow for individualized attention. Classes include checking in with our bodies and emotions, centering using various breathing techniques, learning about the brain/body connection, exciting games and activities to foster social skills, creative movement and yoga poses, relaxation strategies, and meditation. Each class is tailored to meet the needs of the age groups and is based on a theme to make learning fun! The “Stretch What Matters” yoga system (mats with color coded hand and footprints) is often used to increase success.
